With the sponsorship of the U.S. State Department and the U.S. Embassy - Cairo, the Texas International Education Consortium (TIEC) will leverage relationships with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Egypt to provide a platform for participants to share innovations and current research at their universities and specifically in the field of renewable energy. In addition, participants will gain an understanding of opportunities for partnerships and create an action plan for collaborative programming between Egyptian and Texas faculty. Long-term, this project will lead to sustained partnerships for institutions of higher education and strengthened ties between the U.S. and Egypt.
